Asbestos services: common questions
What is the first step for any asbestos job?
A survey by an accredited AHERA building inspector. SRCAA requires one before renovation or demolition (SRCAA).
Does every job need a notice to the clean air agency?
Small amounts under 10 linear feet or 48 square feet per structure per year do not need one. Larger jobs do. See the notification guide.
Do you test for asbestos?
Testing must be done by accredited inspectors and labs. We work from their reports. The survey page explains the process.
Can you work on commercial buildings?
Send the details through the contact form. Larger projects fall into higher fee tiers and longer waits, so we review each one.
Which services cost the most?
Cost follows the amount and the difficulty, not the label. See the cost guide.
